Tiny pfSense box for remote office

YESYESYES! Found it, AND it’s working!

Hardware used:
ebox 3310mx-l3u4 (no fans – passive cooling!!!)
One 250GB 2,5″ SATA Drive

Software used:
pfSense 2.1.5
This neat little thingey has 3x 10/100 NICs; 1xR6040 and 2xRealtek RTL8100B. All of them working in pfSense 2.1.5.
The eBox will be used as the main wheel in the remote office. Acting DHCP-server (3 networks), firewall, gateway, using IPSec, etc. Also – of course – when you starting thinking about the topology you will ALWAYS be short of NICs, so I consolidated this using 802.1q (also known as VLANs) tagging from the switch to the eBox.

Some “heads up”:
1) This doesn’t work with pfSense 2.2.0 (probably 2.2.1 as well because the use same kernel), this version returns some memory allocation error and just wont start (BSD 10.1 fault?).
2) Only supports x86 version of pfSense
3) The eBox turns pretty warm when working, so keep it well ventilated!
I installed pfSense from USB (use pfSense’s documentation if you don’t know how).
So, let’s go on with some pictures:

And a small write up of the topology (stuff removed – so it looks little wierd)
