As standard the VNC server included with CentOS only seems to listen
at IPv6. I don’t run any v6 (yet) so i tried – and needed to – change
this to IPv4… No luck at all.
After a while I found this solution, wich uses the RDP protocol as “front end” and VNC as “back end”. It works really well and is even better with with applications like mRemoteNg and such.
The only set back I had was that the vncservice didn’t want to start. This was solved with setting a user, display and password.
